Educational gamification system

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to introduce the subject of gamification as well as the attempt of transfering it into the teaching process carried out in the university. It explains the concept of gamification with its advantages and disadvantages, the recommendation for its use in teaching and also shows examples of its successful application in education. A concept of gamification in the process of teaching in higher education is also presented as well as the author’s educational gamification system To the proposed concept. This system is based on responsive web design technique and contains: points, leaderboards, different types of possible missions, etc. At the end the attention was focused on possible further developments.
